Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

I think we should have a section for recipies.
Dinner recipies, desserts or whatever anyone is making.
Just a suggestion.

I have a great recipie for Cinnamon Roasted Chicken...

Ingredients

2 roasting chickens (about 4.5 lb/2 kg each) or 1 capon (about 9 lb/4 kg)

2 tsp (10 mL) cinnamon

1 tsp (5 mL) dried thyme

1 tsp (5 mL) salt

1/2 tsp (2 mL ) pepper

Preparation

Preheat oven to 375F (190C). Cut chicken into serving-size pieces using poultry shears or a large, sharp knife. Mix together cinnamon, thyme, salt and pepper. Rub mixture all over the surface of the chicken pieces. Arrange pieces, skin side up and slightly apart in a single layer, in a large, nonstick or lightly greased baking pan (or 2 smaller pans).

Roast in preheated oven, basting occasionally with pan drippings, for 1 hour or until an instant-read meat thermometer registers 180F (82C) when the thickest portion is pierced and skin is crisp and browned. (If you prefer not to eat the skin, the meat is still well flavoured with the seasoning.)

I used skinless, bonless chicken brests and I cooked it for 25mins.

The house smelled so good!!!

This is so strang, Just got some of those RECIPE CARDS in the mail(the last ones I collected were Betty Crocker-they're 27 yrs old, I love them! they're so handy!) The ones I just received are called. "GRANDMA's KITCHEN" and boy are they good, so I'm gonna get the rest! I'll share the ones that I try & like! I'm gonna try this "OLD WORLD Manicotti" First! Hope it tastes as good as it looks! Guess I should now figure out how to use my "Scanning part" of my 4-1 Printer, scanner, copier & fax NOW! sure would make it easier I guess! what's so cool about these cards is that there's a "handi hint" on each one- things I probably wouldn't have thought about doing!
