Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

My opinion is that it's about time they got rid of this trash -- I hope Jerry Springer is next. CNN has quoted Howard Stern as stating:

quote:
"I'm guessing that sometime next week will be my last show on this station," said Stern, adding that he expected the FCC to hit him with a whopping indecency fine. "There's a cultural war going on. The religious right is winning. We're losing."

I have acquaintances that watch his show and feel it "is a part of life" and should not be cancelled. I'm of the opinion that diarrhea "is a part of life" and should remain hidden because it stinks and so does this show.

I'm glad the FCC and religious groups are attempting to clean up this mess which should have never been allowed on the airwaves. It gives children the impression that this type of behavior and inmorality "is a part of life."

I really think most would know my views here already, but the two that's mentioned is a START(tip of the iceberg). That's why I watch the News, weather & animal shows on regular channels & that's all that's of interest in our home. We support "Clean T.V." programing. I'm not embarrassed who comes to my house when I'm viewing my "alternative satelite programing".

biggrins I love that diaherra comment. Funny how I've always associated Howard Stern with that Big Grin but I've never seen his show so I don't really know what its like. I've just seen him occasionally and I think he's a mess.

Those shows are long gone, my friend. This generation is missing so much. Whenever I say that to my children, the reply is "yeah, right Mom!!" -- but it's true. Those shows had innocence. Gilligan's Island, Leave it to Beaver...*sigh* I think we're getting old. lol

Yep! I believe in Free Speech too, Just so long as it doesn't infringe on others Freedom & Decency. Some people however, do not obey the Laws of the Land, when it comes to Decency! Smile
