I saw in todays paper that congress is working on a law to keep over weight people from suing fast food places for "making them fat" HURRAH. I am SO sick and tired of people blaming everyone except themselves for EVERYTHING that goes wrong in their lives from being fat to spilling hot coffee in their lap to their kids injuries or problems. People should know that when you stuff yourself with fries, malts, fried pies and burgers, you will get fat. People should know when you order coffee it is hot, and when you drive and drink it, you stand a good chance of getting burned. People should know that when they never correct their children those children will get into trouble with neighbors, law, etc. So I say HURRAH for congress trying to put a stop to some of these silly, stupid, lawsuits.

I say Hurrah as well. I couldn't believe my eyes when I read about that lawsuit. Unbelievable!!

It's called taking responsibility for our own actions. We want our children to "grow-up" & be mature, so should we. America wonders why businesses are going down the tubes & folks are losing their jobs. Why Insurances are rising, Doctors are being sued(some things aren't their fault) many are. Alot of stuff needs straightened out in this Country. The sister of one of the Convicts(prison-hostage-takers)that raped 2 women@ the prison a month ago, was on TV tonight. This sister is ANGRY because she traveled all the way out here &"talked" her brother into giving himself up inlieu of a"prison transfer" to a closer-to-home Prison! and now our Prison system is not going to transfer her brother to their"HOME" state(more convienient visitation) imagine that! If he wanted to be in that state, he should have done the crime there! She said that if it hadn't been for her, the standoff would have ended, with at least 1 officer dead. If that would have happened, She wouldn't have a brother to visit either. So it seems she's looking for a way to sue(I guess there's a law that you can't "lie" to a Suicidal Maniac? who is threatening to kill people. SHAME ON US! Never was it ever a policy to NEGOTIATE IN A STANDOFF- EVERY OFFICER KNOWS THAT, THERE IS NO "DEALS"-THIS IS THE OFFICIAL STAND-NO DEALS- IS, WAS & ALWAYS WILL BE! WOULDN'T IT BE DANGEROUS FOR EVERY CONVICT TO THINK THAT HE COULD"BARGAIN HIS WAY OUT OF PRISON, but taking HOSTAGES! the prisons would be empty! GUESS WHAT, HER DEAR KIDNAPPING,RAPIST BRO. HAS A STACK MORE CHARGES ON HIS DUMB BUTT NOW & PROBABLY won't see the "outside world" in this lifetime! She may want to think about moving to AZ herself. And BOTH THOSE SCREWUPS. DON'T LIKE JOE ARPAIOS' Crossbar Hotel either, seems Ol'Joe is a lil harder than they had it before in the State Hotel! When they get back to the State Prison, it won't be the nice new, modern facility, where they had a lot of "freedom of movement" their PRISON-SECURITY SCORE HAS HIT A NEW HIGH! AND THEIR ACCOMMODATIONS HAVE BEEN CHANGED IN THEIR TRANSFER to a REAL PRISON ENVIORNMENT! it will send a necessary message to others that had "a thought" about trying it too!

Always someone trying to make it through this world at someone else's expense !!! Like all the people in our area that are collecting disability and working everyday in the fields or doing construction work under the table...Just makes my _ _ _ want to chew tobacco !!!!

Know I'm off subject here but on the news, One of the "poor hostage taking,rapist, scum-bags, just "said he was sorry for what hee did, but added, "I did treat them humanely, I gave them food & water"! THAT'S IT! I'M GONNA GO NUTS NOW!WHAT DOES HE CALL KIDNAPPING, TERRORIZING, TORTURING, BEATING & RAPING REPEATEDLY? NICE? HUMANE? I'M SORRY HE NEEDS CASTRATED STARTING FROM HIS EARS DOWN! 2 DAYS AGO BOTH OF THESE TWO SNAKES(apologize to snake lovers) said that " we weren't really trying to ESCAPE"- GRRRRRRRRR! cOULD IT BE THAT THEY NOW KNOW ABOUT ALL THE ADDITIONAL CHARGES that just got added to their "LOAD of charges"? Attempted escape is one bad crime in Prison, Means you don't breathe, without receiving written permission & LIGHT WILL HAVE TO BE PIPED IN TO THEM!

Isn't it crazy how everyone wants to blame someone else for their problems I'm glad they're trying to take care of this.
