Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

This was posted on the other site I go to Wiemaraner Lovers....

I'm a Petsitter in Murfreesboro TN. There are two Wimer's that need a new home the owner is moving and Started a new Buisness. She does not have the time to spend with them.. They are house broken, there name is Bo and Yeager. Bo is a little larger then most ( 90 to 125 lbs), Yeager is the average size about 50- 65 lbs.

They are wonderfull dogs, I would take them but I all ready have five dogs my self ( in and outside dogs). They need someone to love and play with a fenced in area.

Stacy, When it rains it pours, now there's two females for me. The one in Utah will bring Winnie down to Flagstaff(around the 9th,) she's 1 yrs old & a sweetie. & then there's a lil girl that's one 12 days older than Hannah. She was rescued last night & we'll go to Kingman & the rescuer will bring her from Vegas(she was getting beaten up on by an older Shepherd and conditions that were horrible(got a bite in the ear. But I can only take one(to be fair to them all) Three is more then I really can deal with properly-that's the realistic side. So I've been trying to find Winnie a good Forever home.

I do too, Maggie. I just got pics of the lil weimi female that we're going to adopt probably Sunday. She has to get her shots Sat. & I'll get her Rabie shot in 2 weeks. Then, get her spayed, after that. I really would hate to have her spayed in the shape she's in now. I'll post a pic of her. Keep in mind, she'e 12 days older than Hannah! Poor thing!

Here's another pic of her, I see a hard coat & ribs. I see a sadness in her eyes, not what a puppy should feel! I can't wait til I get her, bathe her, give her a good meal & tell her she's home now! I seriously think a night in a motel in Flagstaff(where the New Petsmart is) will do her some good! Wink Show her how a puppy should be treated! doggy doggyShe's had a very hard, sad life. when I get her, I'll write her story!

I am almost scared to post this, cuz there are so many"ifs" yet. But supposedly, someone is bringing Winnie, down to me from the northern most part of Utah! should be by thurs(4/8) she is a rescued weimi. not the one posted above. She will soon be adopted, as the Lady(foster home) already has a man looking for a lil girl. Winnie-soon to be Greta, had a sad story of desertion too! which I will post at a later time! Here's a pic of Greta

They all have an "inner sadness" about them. In a weimi, it's not having a Human of their very own. If a weimi can't have a human, there's a hole in their heart! Greta, has a big surprise comin! I met a young lady on the phone, she asked me if I wanted a rescued Dalmation(At this point I had weimis coming out of my ears!) I told her no, but we still talked & I could tell that it's her goal in life to rescue every dalmation she could! well, we communicate & she lives in Phx area. she goes to pounds all over the state, "bails out" Dalmations & gives them to people wanting them(she drives them to you too!) This is a dedicated person, who DOES RESCUE! SHE DOESN'T WAIT FOR A GROUP, or an EVENT(some dogs, like a male Dalm in Tucson, today) doesn't have TIME!(THIS GAL IS DRIVING DOWN THERE TODAY TO PICK HIM UP-JUST IN TIME!) In my search, to find a sister for Hannah, I've heard a lotta stories of sadness, abuse, neglect & desertion. It is GOOD to hear that someone is part of the solution & not part of the problem. It also shows me that even if we can't adopt all the dogs, maybe not even one, we can still help in one way or another! On ONE side of the problem I see GREED, selfishness & no conscience and on the other side, I see SelfLESSness, LOVE & Dedication! There's a lot of people on both sides of this EQUATION, only time will tell whose gaining ground, meanwhile the pets are paying the ultimate price! Crying

Big Grin btw... What happened to the Christian lil sign thingie all I see is a lil RED X????

well, the sig is back. Greta has diarrhea, it started yesterday while on our way home. So she's resting now & as soon as that subsides she will get a bath(very much in need of one!) I'm trying to keep the girls separated so Greta can get some rest. She's very mucha mama's girl. Hannah, is so outgoing & Greta is so Humble! she surprised me cuz the guy who dropped he off said that she is not obedient, She sits, comes & downs on command she follows me all over & when I say no, she stops immediately! I couldn't ask for a sweeter dog. I plan on spending a lot of years w/ her by my side. Hannah is a big daddy's girl cuz he lets her get a way with a lot. But that's okay, they play continuously if I let them! I am giving Greta a lil down time so she can calm her stomach. I bought 3 cases of Puppy canned food yesterday @ Petsmart and a 40 lb bag of Puppy Large Breed Eucanuba(I still have 20 lbs left from the other bag.) I get the canned cuz picky eater Hannah, liked it mixed together & served(sometimed spoon fed, so she doesn't get her nose gunky! BUT NOW, with Greta her, she takes it Plain & dry!? hehehe- nothing like having a friend over for dinner! they eat peacefully with two bowls, 5 ft away, no problem. Greta doesn't see a thing wrong with the dry Eukanuba and NOW Hannah doesn't either! As soon as I can get Greta to the Vet & we get her checked out I will get some pics posted. They really play hard(tug of war is a favorite! & I MEAN THEY REALLY PLAY! Hannah's 9 mo old & I'm told that Gretta is 11 months old?! Greta is about 1" taller @ the Withers. Hannah is much bigger boned, even her lower leg bones & Head is bigger. Hannah is a stronger dog, while Greta is a smarter player. I can tell that both are Happy with this arrangement! My hubby was wondering when we first got home if we were in our rightminds, for getting another dog. But things have calmed down, so he sees that it will work out. Glad that he's off tomorrow too, Hannah doesn't know how to walk with another dog & with the rain making mud of everything, We got to put them on a leash & walk them.(hopefully we'll get sod in this spring! Greta's coat is in terrible shape, But with the vitamins, proper food, brushing ,My special combo of shampoos & coat conditioners we should get it looking like Hannah's! BTW- Those two bark parks(links above) are awesome places! The second one(Bark Master Park) is where we picked up Greta(it had a BMX Bike cement ramps & pits(like at the competitions and all fenced in!), tennis courts, Volly ball courts, BBQ pits, picnic benches and endless walk paths. All the sport things was at one end of the Park & the dog park @ the other! It' was a really nice place to spend the day & you could see the snow caped peaks of SanFrancisco Peak(highest place in Az.) if you are ever in the Area it's 5 min off of I-40 in Flagstaff Az.
