Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

Hey there,

Mike and I did a transport for 3 pups yesterday and we drove from Fort Wayne, to Marshall, MI. It was rather uneventful, except when Cameron decided he wanted to stand on my lap and I couldn't see. A few miles north of Coldwater, MI, I was in the passing lane of the FREEWAY and saw a pup on the side of the road. I swerved across 2 lanes of traffic and got stopped. Mike got out and ran back (now about a quarter of a mile) and whistled and called and clapped his hands and she ran right up to him. She is the most adorable little JRT. Well, needless to say, we can't keep her, so, my friend Jackie (who got the other 3) too her with her and is she is already on the website (no picture yet)and she named her Molly.

Gee Rosemary, I think they would transport!!! If you want to help with transports, you can go to yahoo and go to groups and then find the animal groups and then look for rescue or transports and you can join the groups and then you will get notifications. Also, they post on petfinder. Mike and I do transports ALL the time. In fact we will be transporting at least 4 dogs this weekend. We will be taking one of ours too. And possibly adding Raven to the trip, so there may be as many as 6 dogs in the car!! lol
