Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

Yes, but I'm a firm believer tnat if it's meant to happen, it will. She needs a dog her size & love of running that she has. and one with the right disposition. She is a Princess here & I don't want her to be "alpha-betized" by another dog. If I cant find a female that can share with Hannah equally than Hannah will remain "our only daughter". Hannah is a "free spirit" here & when another dog comes here she shares & plays freely, not at all worried about who gets what- I want her to stay like that! SO WE WILL SEE. I really like what I see wih lil Sophie, but if Hubby is tired, we won't go. I'm sure Sophie will be adopted, if not the lady will e-mail me.

I get really upset when any pet gets hurt by another. I have seen dogs break each others legs & rip out eye balls. I won't have it. Each pet should be totally happy & feel safe & secure in THEIR home. It's selfish of us to have more pets, when by doing so, it hurts the pets we CLAIM to LOVE so much!

Yes, Yvonne they will! and when they do, they will tell me(more notice next time) cuz I was able to E-mail the Tv stations & other Media & get them to announce the Event. Next time given more notice, I will try to get "onsite interviews"! I would love to see the Stations do live broadcasts from the Event itself as they did a month ago with the "SCRATCH~N~Sniff bus(it's huge) & it was for the MOST part donated by PETSMART! I'm attaching a pic of it!

IS THAT COOL OR WHAT! This is ANOTHER reason why I LOVE PETSMART! (and am very glad that CFP & PETSMART ARE INVOLVED! hug2 and I would ask that any CFP members THAT LIVE IN AZ, spread the word anyway they can when one of these Events take place! Every Life is of value and you never know but that friend, neighbor, relative that you tell(or read a flyer that you make) may adopt & save a life!

GOTTA SEND THEM A THANK YOU NOTE FOR THAT! ALSO: just heard on the tv, where a guy(who owns a beauty salon/day spa) that adopted a pet a few years ago, named the lil dog EINSTEIN. Well he, developed a dog shampoo, named it after the dog put the dogs pic on the bottle & gives that shelter 10% of it's proceeds. every year, on the week-end-anniversary of Einstein's adoption, he holds an EVENT, WHERE ALL THE PROCEEDS, goes to the shelter! it's next SUNDAY! Haircuts whatever everything goes to the shelter, they have lil balloons, party like things etc. a "birthday-freedom" party for lil Einstein! This guy really loves his dog! and the money goes to help other pets!

That is so great. I e-mailed 2 shelters yesterday to see if they would hold an Adopt-a-thon but I haven't heard back yet. The main shelter here is really big on events, they have a spring lottery and Walk-a-thons. So maybe they'll do this too.

She still has a red eye, not runny anymore and she still shakes her head but she won't let me anywhere near her ears to clean.
Jeffs going to have to put her in a head lock so I can clean them (sounds mean but they have to be cleaned.)

I forgot to thank-you for asking. Thanks. I'm glad hannah is doing better. With these big floppy ears I think they will always cause some problems. I wanted to ask you before, does she sleep through the whole night for you? Colby gets up 1 or 2 times a night.

Smile Charlotte is big on Walk A Thons and they have different pets on tv every week for Tailwaggers, local here in Concord.

I'm so glad Hannah and Colby are doing better !
Stacey you will have to let Jeff hold her head down and stradle her while you clean those ears. Wink
