Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

Check out this site, this is an animal shelter near my apartment that is just awesome! I have been able to go many times and its all done by volunteer work. They have 5 pages of adoptable kitties and 6 pages of adoptable doggies on the site, and the puppies are just SOOOOO cute! Check them out!

I LOOKED @ EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM! SUCH NICE PUPPIES! I TOO LOVE the way they are training those dogs clap2. It uses Convicts to train dogs so the dogs are "good citizens" and you know Inside the Inmates, it "works for them" too! Otherwise the Convicts would just be sitting in their "quarters" watching tv or getting into trouble. There's an old saying about Idle hands & minds! Wish more Cities would do what that rescue is doing! I know the Sheriff of Maricopa County Az(PHX AREA) Joe Arpaio, is doing the training & grooming w/ their Inmates. Also all the Sheriff Vans have Warnings about Animal Abuse on them with the Phone #. I sure like Joe(named the Toughest Sheriff in the Country!) But a sweetie Pie when it comes to Pets! Muah to Joe! Hug

What an amazing place. I want all the dogs there, Hubba Bubba, Lola, Nectarine, T'ang Speedboat and Steinbeck.
I bought a t-shirt. I can never understand why people don't fix their animals and also how they can give them up.

I sent an e-mail to the TV Station thanking them for the ADOPT-A-THON that they had. I received an e-mail back, stating that they are having more events & broadcasts about rescue & shelters. Further, this guy from the station said that because of the response they got from the program, more were being scheduled! clap2 it's not hard to write an e-mail of "THANKS" just a minute or so. BUT IT CAN MEAN ALOT TO A PUP OR KITTEN, IT MAY SAVE SOME MORE LIVES!

Rosemary, I do that as well. A thank you note takes a few seconds but can make a difference. Smile
