Tootsie is about a month pregnant and already she looks like she's ready to pop. The vet says it would take approx. 62 days. Lately she has gotten very moody and does not want Snoopy nor Tobi around here at all (must be because they are males). She doesn't seem to mind having Lady by her side. It's weird, huh?
We've noticed that she will growl at male visitors, but is okay with females. Is that a pregnancy thing?

Here's a few photos I took. Notice her belly. She must have at least 5 or 6 puppies in there.

OH MY - she does look like she's about ready. Yeah her mood is most definately a male thing cause after all - look who made her pregnant

Can't wait to hear about the blessed event. Wish I lived closer - I would definately love to have a puppy.

We brought her crate in from the garage. It's her favorite private space where she can just relax and get away from Snoopy. She will instinctively go in there when she wants to rest.

Oh Mary Gene, I remember how you've always wanted to have a tiny Chihuahua like Buffy. I just know the puppies are going to be extremely beautiful and probably mostly white since Tobi is blondish white. After the initial shock, we are now excited and Maggie is beyond herself just waiting for it to happen. She gets to pick one of them.
I also think these puppies will be A LOT more furrier than Buffy. She has a very thin tail, but Tobi's tail is like a Pomeranians...so we're just dying to see what these little blessings will look like. Trust me, I will take lots of photos. I hope the delivery happens while at home. Since this is Tootsie's last litter (I already made the appointment to get her spayed) I would love to take photos at that time as well, just for her photo album (believe it or not, all the fur-kids in our family have their own photo album).
