I'll be seeing the puppies this weekend with Maggie. It'll be fun when they open their eyes and start getting into mischief. I'll be sure to take lots more photos.

Maya, the two tiniest puppies (Lulu and Nani) are doing great!! For a while there, we were concerned Lulu might not make it since she wasn't feeding as much. The first 3 days, we made sure to help her grab Tootsie's nipple and nurse almost around the clock. She has a very strong sucking reflex and wouldn't budge even if her siblings were on top of her. We prayed a lot that she would make it and it appears that it is HEALTH for this little girl!! She's just so very tiny that I have a feeling she's going to me like Missy (Buffy's sister) who is the tiniest dog I've ever seen. Buffy is tiny, but large in comparison to Missy. We have a feeling Lulu is going to be like that. Nani is a close second since she is very tiny as well. I miss the little ones being here with me, but I'll see them soon. I can't wait to Maggie to log on and see the photos.

what a great surprise for Maggie. i'm so happy LuLu is doing well. tiny as she is she sounds like a real fighter.

The more Pictures I see of Long haired Chi's I am convinced T-Bone is Long Haired Chi......I cant believe he came to the house last year at the age of about 3 mos and no one claimed him...he was so tiny...

Kathy, T-Bone might just be a Long-Hair Chi. The resemblance between the two breeds is remarkable. Yes, Tootsie is Buffy's Mommy. Here's a picture of them together. Tootsie will NOT be having any more puppies as she is getting spayed, but I can happily say that every puppy she has had has found an excellent, loving home. We keep in touch with all of them, except two where the owners moved and we haven't heard back from them.
