The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. My Mother-n-Law is in hospital in CCU, she has emphysema and has Pneumonia in her lungs, She is 66 years old and a mere 85 lbs. The doctors wants her to go to a Rehab center for her Heart/Lungs but she is refusing to go ! Frown Doctors are telling us that she needs to go or she will regret it ! Doctor is also telling her that she IS NOT coming home Frown She is so weak !

We certainly will Pray for her. Does she believe in Prayer, if not we need to pray about that also! Rehab centers are an unsettling thought at first, but after a few days you find out that it wasn't so bad after all. I was totally against the Idea, but I had a great room mate & caring nurses & therapy personnel. I was the Youngest patient that was there at the time(unbelievable as that sounds) and I learned a lot while I was there. I know that I would have been alot worse off if I had not gone. I learned that I still could do some things that I never thought I would be able to do again.

She is now out of the hospital the Pneumonia has broken up, she is at home , Roy is staying w/ her right now, she is still weak as ever....He called today and said her feet were swollen like pumpkins, I do wish she would go on to the rehab Frown
