Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

I had a long discussion with my OB dr and we've come to the conclusion that I more than likely have severe endrometriosis. But in order to find out for sure I have to have a Laparoscopy done. I decided to do in on October 8th after the summer and all of our birthdays and everything. I hate having surgery done even a little one like this. She's a really good dr and I trust her but I have had a few bad experiences with surgeries. Ugh October is a ways away so I hope I don't get toooo nervous between now and then. I could have it done sooner but even with insurance stuff is expensive so now I have to save up and not for anything fun either.

Melanie I had a laparoscopy done the doctor thought I had the same thing, I got a second opinion and come to find out it was cysts on my ovaries, so they did the laparoscopy to remove them, I know you trust your doctor, but with things like this ,..its always good to get a second opinion, I have since had a hysterectomy
I wish you the best, a laparoscopy is not a bad operation, they did it and I went home the same day, so don't worry Smile

Melanie, Will keep your medical problem in Prayer. I know it will go well, like Yvonne said sometimes second opinions are worth"the second Look"! I've found that out in some of my health decisions too. Please let us know how you are doing too! Hug

She is my second opinion. The first lady thought I was just makng things up and that I wassn't having these pains. I had my blood pressure done when I was there yesterday and it was high yesterday and I normally have slightly lower than average blood pressure so she is going to keep an eye on that too. It was 129 over 80 and normally its like 107 over 70 something. I also had a feaver which is normal durring my period. Its funny because I will warn the people I work with when it starts because I get very irritable and can even be mean. She said if it is severe enough she might just remove everything, isn't that what a hysterectimy (Sp?) is? Either way I don't mind as long as I don't have to double over with pain every 4 weeks. guh!!! Frown

I hope that they take away that pain, yes, there are various levels of the Hysterectomy(partial-various things removed & some left-sometimes you will not have to take Hormones) and Full. I had a partial done...Glad that pain was gone too! Keep us informed & ofcourse, I'll keep you in prayer(as well as your Drs & family)

Smile I had pollups (sp)? on my cervix so I had to have a partial hysterectomy, they left my ovaries, that way like Rosemary said I don't have to take hormones. I'm sure you are in good hands it sounds like you trust this doctor thats the main thing, and don't worry everything will, turn out alright, I was having a lot of pain with my periods and very heavy bleeding, I know its not fun, keep us posted sweetie Smile
