Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

Hi Barbi. Just wanted to let you know. He had a stroke a few weeks ago, and had just recently been placed in a nursing home. Please say a prayer for my family.

Thanks Ladies!! Prayers realy help at a time like this! He was 78, and his health has been failing, then he had the stroke. I guess it is better to go fast, than to linger for months or years in pain and suffering.

It is better for a love one to go fast. No one deserves to linger in pain and suffering.
Janie, CFP opened up a Prayer Request section. The prayer submission does NOT have to be pet-related. I know quite a few of my Christian friends pray over the submissions so it's there for anyone that needs it.

Blessings Smile

Dearest Janie and family,
So sorry to hear. Yes comfort is to be had at a time like this. There maybe moments of weakness but at those times, let your heart be comforted and it will be. As someone said to me: "Take it one day at a time".
With love and prayers,
Annette
