Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

Kathy, I feel so bad for you & your babies. Isn't there a way you can reason with, who ever is saying that you must get rid of them? Is it a landlord? or City regulations? You are certainly on my Prayer list. If it the city, sometimes you can get a special Lic.

What a sad situation. I hope you can find them good homes, or good rescues in the short time it sounds like you have.

How many dogs do you have?

Mechele, Has your landlord said anything? For some people 3 or even 1 is too much. My neighbors' dog(s) bark all night, every night. This sets my girls running through the house doing "lil muffled moofs". I could call the cops on them, however the dogs would be the ones to pay. If there's a specific problem, see if you can work with it & rectify the issue. That's what I would like my neighbors to do. Sometimes it heads off hard feelings & other mors serious problems down the line. KATHY: I will continue to pray for your situation. Hug

Oh Kathy, that is awful. Frown Is it the City that's demanding you get rid of them, or someone else? My gosh, how upsetting for you to have to let them go. We'll be praying for you and please keep us informed.

Mechele, good luck on your situation also. I wished we lived in a world where everyone is an animal-lover, but - unfortunately - a lot of people find pets a nuisance. Frown They don't understand they are like children to us and not disposable.

Oh Kathy, I'm so very sorry. Frown I wish I could give you a hug. I know how you feel. Maggie gave up Mia a few days ago and I miss her being in our family so very much.

I know how much you love all of them. What a shame they had to leave your side Frown

Thanks everyone .....I still miss all my babies so much.....
I found a rescue place in San Angelo the lady met me half way and Took Peppy , TBone, Libby and Toby.....She keeps in touch with me every day giving me updates.....and sending pictures of them....T Bone has been adopted to a family in Ft Worth...I have gotten emails from the ones that have adopted him.....He seems to be doing great......
Toby has been adopted to a widow lady in Big Spring. Tx,,,I have been getting daily updates on him as well....he seems to be doing well, but a little skittish and not to sure of what is going on...Poor baby.....
Peppy has just been adopted to the Dallas area....the lady called me and he is doing ok now.....he had a little incident where the first night he was sleeping with the 9 year old boy and in the middle of the night something happened and Peppy snapped at the child...did not make contact with the skin...the lady freaked out and scared him even more so it was a big mess that night.....she wanted him to go back to the rescue ......she arranged to pick him up ....the ady that wanted to adopt him, called her husband that was out of town at the time and told him all about it...(Peppy was going to be a surprize for him, he did not know any thing about it) and that she was on the way to meet the lady to give him back.....He got mad at her, and told her she cant except to have a rescue dog come in the house and everything go as she wants it to, you have to work with them and win their trust....He told her to call that lady and turn around and take Peppy back home.....that he did not do anything wrong.....he was scared and he wants peppy to be his dog......they have two other poms and a 17 year old poodle......
so maybe now with the husband home every thing will go ok....
No one has been interested in poor Libby yet, but the rescue lady will keep her as long as she needs to.....Libby sleeps with her and her husband....
I just still miss them, but to keep in touch with the adoptive parents and seeing pictures and hearing stories make me feel better....
