Hi guys - I know I've not been around much lately, my Mom isn't doing very well. She's 83 and has been losing weight for quite some time now. She only weighs 85 pounds. I took her to the Dr last week and finally today got some test results. They all came back indicating that there is no physical reason for the weight loss other than she's simply not eating. They put her on an anti depressant to see if that will help. Mom has had an anerism (sp) in her belly for quite a few years. That has enlarged. The DR will not operate, says she wouldn't survive the operation so if it bursts, she will die for sure. We just take it one day at a time, but it's been really stressful. So please keep her in your prayers, my Mom and I are close so I've been so worried for so long.

I'm so sorry Mary Gene It's hard when our parents get old and their health deteriorates. I know my Dad is 79 and I worry so much about his health.

I'll pray for a quick recovery and for her appetite to return.
