Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

yesterday our whole family came over to celebrate the holiday. and as it turns out almost everyone just had kittens. my aunt on my dad's her cat had 3 kittens last Thursday and then she stole another one from somewhere. she's now treating as her own. so now they have 10 cats. my aunt on my mom side (who gave us mila's dad) had 2 kittens about 6 week ago but 2 days ago a tiger ate one of them. 2 of her boys age 6 and 10 saw it (we were so lucky they didn't go outside).
yes Barbi i gave them the link i don't know why i didn't think of it sooner. (the one with the 10 cats don't have a computer)

it's not my kitten that got eaten. it's my aunt's. they live in a kibbutz (about an 1 1/2 hours drive from my house) in the Judean desert. there are some tigers in the desert (not enough) and a few month ago a mail tiger was spoted in the kibbutz he has been seen there almost every day since then. when they analyzed the dropings they realized there were 2 tigers mail and femail. now they think they have babies and they come there looking for food. it happens every couple of years so the people learn to live with it. the boys cryed about the kitten but took it as a part of life. no one gets to exited about it. they did a movie about the tigers who come into the kibbutz
it will be aired at the weekend i hope i get a chance to see it.
there are other places here where "nature comes off the mountains and into the city" there's a city where every year deers come to eat the grass off people's lawns when their food runs out. but isn't that the same where you live? there must be places near you where it happens.
in Canada we saw Caribou maybe 20 meter from our hotel just sitting there. i'm sorry if i coused drama Dunno

It was interesting drama! I'm sure there's dangerous/wild animals around the outskirts of almost anyplace - where I lived in southern California, there's coyotes and occasionally bobcat or cougars. It's just that the image of a TIGER seems so out-in-the-jungle!! Sure got our attention!
