Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

Beautiful siggies indeed! Hi everyone Smile I've been away for so very long. So much happening in my life, that it's been easy to stay away. BUT, I have missed each and every one of you.

Oh Yvonne, has it been that long already? Curtis 3 years old? Do you have a current photograph? I'm glad you're into graphic design....you are so talented! You always were my back-up for siggies. I miss creating pages; I miss creating siggies; I miss the contest; featuring a pet; the whole mambo jumbo.

Christine, I send you a hug.
Rosemary, I send you another one.
This is my Internet home away from home. I sure am glad when I'm back in touch with you guys.

hug2

It is always wonderful to come back here and pick-up where we left off Smile That's what friends are for. To think we used to do this on an almost daily basis, day in and day out, year in and year out. There are thousands and thousands of posts to read back on which bring happy memories.

My gosh, I can't believe the girls will be turning 6 already and Bon three years old!! Incredible!! Have you noticed Anna that I still have Angus' video up on the site? I will always treasure that video.

Sometimes I read old posts and think of how much time we spent sharing each other's lives. Christine's pregnancy, Yvonne's grand-baby, Angus life and then death, Rosemary's adoption and then loss of Hannah....I tell you....it's been an honor running this website and having met each one of you.

My life is hectic lately, but in the most wonderful sense. I became the grandmother to a gorgeous baby girl, named Kiara, born on February 16th. She is my pride and joy and my daily sunshine. My Son Cesar is goo-goo-ga-ga over her. I'll post some photos.

Love you guys Smile

How GORGEOUS is that GRAND BABY! I just want to tell you all that I am frantic about this dog & cat food RAT POISONING TRAGEDY(THAT KILLS the PETS KIDNEYS)!... NOW the story is that RAT POISONED WHEAT from CHINA has caused it. NONE of my 2 girls eat canned or MOIST. BUT: HANNAH died of KIDNEY FAILURE:Perfectly healthy & then SUDDENLY DYING! all with in a few days. THE VET cried and was shocked, as HANNAH was Raised by us a pup and not one of the rescues.SHE was on PROPAC Lamb & RICE made by Midwest Foods. It is a better brand(OR so we were told) SHE was on the dry food. NOW I wonder where the RICE came from(Perhaps CHINA?)DURING the time of our HANNAH'S DEATH another dry dog food was being recalled, but NOT PROPLAN. I have written them.. The ONE thing I get from all of this is, THAT MILLIONS of PETS have DIED in the last 6-8 months of SUDDEN KIDNEY FAILURE... and NOW PEOPLE are wondering if it's the PET FOOD SUPPLY! FOX NEWS CHANNEL is investigating, JUST HOW the WHEAT imported from CHINA, had SO MUCH POISON in it! ACCIDENT or ON PURPOSE? Authorities are believing that by the amt of the poison, it was NOT AN ACCIDENT. Hopefully we will see. I find it interesting that about 6 months ago, America found out that CHINA was USING CAT & DOG hides and FUR to trim COATS/OUTER APPAREL with and REFUSED these ITEMS! AT a GREAT FINANCIAL LOSS to CHINA. Something to think about! HOPEFULLY America will stop importing food items from Countries who wish to do us HARM!

Oh Barbi what a precious little girl! Your oh so lucky to be a grandma! I hope you'll share more pictures of her when you get the time.

Being on this site has been an honor for me also. Letting me share my beautiful family with you all and being able to share yours with you heartjest

I didn't notice that you still had the video up, but it makes me feel so good that you do. Just to know someone else cared about my boy that much.
And if you'd like to see another video of Angus made by a friend of mine, please take a look. Makes me cry every time....Angus Love
One more thing, he was the Dog of the Day back in November. A very proud day for me Smile

It is very sad to hear about all the animals who have gotten sick from the food. Just breaks my heart.
I'm so glad I don't feed dog food (We switched to raw last September)!

Take care everyone!

Love Anna

Oh Rosemary, it is scary what is happening with the dog food. I though about Hannah's illness and also wondered if it was related to this. I feel horrible for those that have died and pray they get to the bottom of what is going on!! I think it's sick how some countries can eat dogs and cats!! Totally disgusting and cruel in my personal opinion.

Anna, how good to hear back from you and how wonderful to see that picture of Angus. He was our beloved rottie. I'll checkout that video shortly, and -- yes -- the one you gave us will always remain there as long as CFP is online. It is so beautiful and I know it gets viewed often.

I'm going to open a post with some pictures of my granddaughter Kiara.

Yvonne, Christine...where are you?

Barbi, that grand daughter of yours is simply gorgeous!!!

I also was going through some of the older posts a few weeks ago......this place has always felt like home to me. It was so wonderful to share my pregnancy with all of you!! Hopefully, if things go like we hope, i'll have another pregnancy to share sometime this year!

Life has been so crazy lately. Tyler is amazing!! He is 3, fully potty trained and incredibly independent!! Today is Honey's b-day...she is 7!! Licky and MeeMee are doing good, also. The dogs love having a huge yard and so does Tyler!!

Honey says thank you for the birthday hugs!!

We are really excited about the possibility of having another baby! We've been without health insurance for quite awhile, so once we get that to kick in we'll go from there. It should go into effect next monday! Clap

Hi Christine!! My Lord, how much he has grown and what a terrific shot!! Clap You are so lucky to raise him surrounded by such a beautiful environment. There's nothing like wide open space and animals to play with. What's his personality like? We left him a baby and he's already a toddler. My gosh, time goes by so quickly.

A second pregnancy Chris? How wonderful that would be!!! Now I see babies all around. I hope I have 10 more grandchildren. Big Grin

Post more photos Smile

Oh I love where we live! It's just perfect to raise a family. Tyler loves that he can run and run....and I love how much it wears him out! LOL He is doing so great. He talks so clear now, and has such a great sense of humor! He is always being silly and making us laugh. He's really into wearing my flip flops around the house now.....and he does this silly dance that I call Indian Rain Dance...it's hilarious! LOL He does have his moments, though. The 2's were no where near as rough as the 3's, that's for sure!! But I am just so in love with him.....

I can't wait to be pregnant again!!! I am really hoping we get the ok when we see the doctor soon.....Tyler would make such a great big brother! Here is another pic of him...he loves these flower thingies!

And here is a family pic:
