Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

You know the Bible says Honor thy Father and Mother right ? What does a person do when you have complied with this to the best of your ability and you have turned your cheek many many times and it only keeps getting worse and worse and worse and worse...!!!!!!!! What then ?

Please pray for my family !

Family togetherness is just like a marriage -- it takes a lot of work on both sides. I will definitely pray for you on this one. Hang in there and don't give up on finding peace and harmony. Hug

You're in my Prayers too, Mechelle! Don't ever give up...sometimes you do have to back up or away for a lil while though.

ok this first thing I typed didn't show up let me try this again.
I believe that Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother only means you treat them with respect. (not being mean and rude) however you don't have to keep close relationship with them I don't with my in-laws. they are very controling and hard to get along with. my children have little to do with them either as they have some strange views on raising kids. like they whipped their kids with some sort of Rod using the vers spare the Rod spoil the Child, they would spank until the kids hugged them and said they were sorry. according to them if that meant 15 licks thats what they got. for that reason and many others they are not allowed around my kids alone and we very seldom visit them even though we are in the same city. I hope that helps you some with your question.
