Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

I am sorry that I haven't been around. I have been so busy lately. Spring is here and I have so much to do. I am now studying and doing some online courses so my free time is almost all gobbled up. The snow is finally melting but we still have lots to go. The cats are happy that it isn't so cold anymore and have ventured onto the deck a few times. Still no sign of Snoops. Digger seems to be hanging around more now, I think it might have to do with Snoops being gone. Snoops used to chase Digger, more than I thought I guess. Cody, the newest addition since Snoops' disappearance, is doing great. He is right at home and plays well with the other cats. Poor Sassy though she is getting older and likes to be left alone by the other cats. They sometimes get in her way and she gets upset but for the most part she is doing fine. Cuddles went in for her spay a couple weeks ago, and they also removed a large mass from her abdomin. It was suspicious looking so we got it sent out for testing. Still waiting to hear the results. The mass was the size of a small egg, wow hey! I am hopefull that they come back negative for cancer. They did get the entire tumour so if it was cancerous then we will have to keep a close eye on other foreign lumps and get them checked out right away. I am still volunteering at the SPCA and working 2 days a week. Miss Miss (aka Little Miss) is doing great and as bossy as ever, LOL! Bandit has matts on his back so I have been working on them but he is so bad and won't sit still for long. Poor guy they must hurt you know. I wish he liked to be brushed so we can avoid this every spring. Rascal is still rascally. He likes to fight with Bandit and chase Whisper and Cuddles around. He has to have a bite of whatever I may be eating too, the little sneak. I had a steak the other day and got up from the table to get something and turned around and he had a hold of it and was getting ready to take off. What a bad boy he can be. Whisper likes to chase Cuddles around too but I am trying to stop of this habit, poor Cuddles gets picked on big time. She is so small and petite and I don't think she will get much bigger. I am missing Snoops lately and find myself looking in the ditches expecting to see him but hoping not to at the same time. I wish I knew what happened. If I knew that he had crossed the rainbow bridge then I could at least give him a proper fairwell. OK enough about that, I am sorry. I hope everyone is well and that you are having spring weather and getting out and about.Take care. Wave

Anita, I am so happy to hear back from you again. I really have missed you. I'm sad to hear that Snoops has not returned, but don't give up hope. I was reading a story in a magazine about a cat who returned home after 2 years. That has been known to happen quite often. Snoops is such a beauty that someone just probably picked him up. I'll keep praying that he'll find his way home. You sound like you have a household of fun with your furkids. Hope you receive good news about Cuddles biopsy, I know the waiting must be terrible. Little Miss sounds like her old self Smile lol, such a character!! It's so cool the way they all have different personalities which become so distinct. Between school and work, how in the world do you ever find time to do volunteer work? LOL, let me in on your secret, I would love to be able to do that as well.

I've been stopping by your MSN forum quite often, but I haven't posted because I need to re-register (i forgot my username and password). When I reimaged my drive, it lost all the cookies and it was just such a mess. I do so enjoy visiting there often.

Glad to have you back Smile

Thanks for the warm welcome back. I have missed you too and glad to hear that you are feeling so much better since your surgery. I have come by here often too to see what's been going on. I have been really slack at posting though, Dunno, even at my cat site. I have gotten my work and home schedule down to a bit of a routine. I work Monday and Friday, work out at the gym Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as catch up on housework etc., volunteer in the afternoon on Wednesdays and then study in the evenings. I have also started sewing again so I use up free time making pillows and stuff like that. Plus my 2 year old keeps me hopping when I am not busy. LOL!! I do have more free time then you only working part time though. I don't know if I could do it if I had to work full time because that would spread me too thin I think.

You do a service to your local shelter already by advertising adoptable pets on here. Anything we can do helps in a bigger way than you think. I feel like I don't really do much but the ladies at shelter are so thankful all the time that it makes me see that I am making a differance just being involved. I used to cry every time I went to the shelter but have hardened I guess. I still care a great deal about the animals when I do go I just don't get as emotional. I know that the animals are being cared for and until they find a home they are better off in there then on the street, you know.

Anyway I could go on for hours but should leave some news for my next post! LOL Wink It is good to be back. I will try to come by more often and be a more frequent participant in the group. Take care and talk soon.
