Well I'm still here...at least sometimes!

I honestly haven't had time to post at all here lately. With Angus's death & then I've been ever so busy with Bon, visiting my parents in SC, having houseguests, working more now since Mark is off with his foot surgery and of course the holidays.

I have to say I really do miss talking to you all and can't believe how quiet the board is now. It makes me sad that we don't get to have our little conversations much now but I'm glad that I have made friends with such loving people

Rosemary, I'm going to try the Moth balls thing. thats a good idea Bodie keeps sniffing our walls I think we have some rats in them and Zack looked under the house yesterday and says he can see signs of them being there. I don't know why thier here I keep my house really clean.

Keeping the house clean is a good thing, BUT Opportunity...is what rats & Mice look for. Especially in the winter(if there is anyway for them to get in they will) They will chew through wood,under the house all they have to do is get a way under. Outside, they can chew quad track, motorcycle seats, wires(even in the vehicle-engine compartment) I have out metal shed outside & it's on cinderblock-2"pavers, but there is a few inches between each paver along the outer edge. That;s where they chose to dig into the open space(So that's where we put the scented mothballs)in those mesh bags & staked them. No More Rats, mice, squirrels or skunks come on our property. When we moved here, I had a neighbor that called this the mouse house. They had dug under & came up between the walls. Well, I found where they came in. I plugged the hole, filed it with those scented moth balls, steelwool & replastered the hole in the wall. Went outside, found the hole under the existing concrete step. I filled the hole with mothballs, steelwool & since we were going to replace the existing single step with a concrete patio anyway, we filled the hole in with concrete too. That was 4 yrs ago & we haven't had ANY critters since.

Hi everyone I am still here, just can't spend as much time as I would like here anymore, with the grandbaby and I have had to cut down on my graphic making also, I will pop in every now and then,.. I sent Barbi an email, Rosemary I think you would be a great moderator to take my place.

im alive 2!!!!! i miss every1 soooooo much. my job keeps me 2 busy ~n~ so does school. my new comp got a virus ~n~ got rebuilt. that was scary! im back 4 a lil while

I'm hoping after the first of the year to get high speed internet back.....I hate dial-up!!! It takes forever for pages to load and to post replies.......I miss you all!!!!!

We miss you too! Patience Christine, everything in it's own time! Meanwhile, I hope all is well in Tennesee! How's Lil Tyler? Sure miss seeing his pics...But I'm sure you will get us all up to "Speed" soon!

You are right Rosemary...patience....I'm just so thankful to have our own home again and that Tyler is happy and healthy.

Tennessee is wonderful! It is so beautiful...I love seeing the mountains all the time!! Tyler is just growing like a weed.....he's almost 11 months old now! He's standing by himself and is taking steps here and there. He also have tooth #5 just poking through and tooth #6 is just about ready to poke through! He's also started to pant like the dogs do....i'll ask him what does a doggie say and he'll stick his tongue out and pant...it's hilarious!!! I did post a new pic of him yesterday.....hopefully i'll get more posted real soon.
