Hey just thought I'd share what happened on Christmas day. a few doors down there is a rent house that a family moved into about 5 or 6 months ago,they have two adorable children I've never spoken to but their always up and down the street. the kids leave toy's trash etc. all over the place even on the sidewalk so you have to either walk on the street or step over their things. I've never said anything about the trash and toys even though it is aggrivating. the one biggest problem everyone here has had is the parents speed between 50-60 mph on our street. the speed limit is 30!!!!!! this is a neighborhood for CRYING OUT LOUD!!!! no one has said a word to them in all this time but finally I called after many neighbors complained to me about it and asked the cops to go talk to them. I guess they did they said that they would. Christmas day hubby and I are loading up the car to leave and here the guy comes flying 50 or so down the street. Zack stepped out of our drive way and yelled at him to slow down and they guy did then he came screaching to a stop and backed up!!! Zack walked towards his car ready to whoop him. I'm thinking great my hubby is going to jail on Christmas. then when the guy realized Zack was headed for his car he peeled out and took of into his driveway and went inside. I was so glad I really didn't want this to escalate. anyway it's just been on my mind the past few days the guy has slowed down to atleast 30 now everytime I've seen him go downt the street. I'm praying to God they move soon though before an person or an animal gets killed on our street if they start driving that way again.
hopefully they will feel uncomfortable enough because my neighbors daughter told me yesterday that she had a dispute with the mother and told her if she was gonna keep mouthing they could lay it down right there and fight it out. she said the mom backed down and has been nothing but nice ever since. now keep in mind this is a middle class- uppser class neighborhood. neighbors here don't usually do things like my hubby and this other girl did but we are frustrated and being pushed to the limit. pray for us!!!!
