Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. Do any of you keep a card in your wallet/purse that says you have animals at home that need care in case something happens to you? I really thought it was a good idea. Here's the one I keep in my purse.

That is an excellent suggestion!! I'm ashamed to say I had not thought of it. I'll create one and place it in my wallet today. Come to think of it, I should have one to notify family members also in case something ever happens to me.

I do not have a card in my purse, but that is a very good idea. I do have a sticker for firefighters on the back door saying there are 3 dogs inside, I carry a copy of all three dog's vet records in each vehicle and always have a picture of them with me.

I had not thought of carrying anything in my purse, but I do have the notice about 3 dogs in the house on my window.
