Good to hear from you!! You're right....life has been very busy, lots of ups and downs for me as well, but we're both fighters and still alive and kicking!! How are the fur-kids? Still running your wonderful chihuahua forum? I've been very busy and hardly stop by my own board. Aside from starting my new business ( http://www.giftbargains4u.com), I bought a new house -- so that's a lot of work, although a lot of fun. I've been commuting almost 300 miles on a weekly basis, so it's a bit stressful. Like you said -- still alive and kicking. I've missed you my friend.

Hi Barbi. First off Chihuahuamaniacs has closed. The wonderful group became a place where a few troublemakers joined and started trouble that escalated and the group was not the same afterwards. I started a new group, and the same thing happened. I learned that it is not always good to trust peeople that you meet on the internet. There are a lot of good people, but a lot of bad ones too that will do anything to cause pain to others. I have had so many health issues also. One of them is having to do with my eyes. My suight has deteriorated badly over the past year. I have corneal dystrophy, which slowly robs you of your sight. Mine escalated much faster than normal. I had a corneal transplant in the right eye in September. The eye is slowly getting better. The left eye wasn't quite as bad as the right, but I will need a transplant in that eye as well. Hopefully I will be ready for it early next year. It is hard to read, so I am not on the computer nearly as much. The worst thing that has happened is that our sweet Honeybunch died Sept 20 of this year. She had been doing so good, but she got sick and went downhill very fast. She would have been 4 on Jan 1. We miss her so much, and she left a big hole in our hearts. Life goes on. We still have a houseful of chis and new babies. On Oct 8, a couple came to buy a pup. It was a repeat buyer. They seemed to be okay. They stole one of our male dogs, Diego, and gave me a bad check for a pup. We cannot prove that they took Diego, but he was here before they came and we realized he was gone shortly after they left. We have been trying to find Diego, offering a huge reward, but have had no luck. There is a warrant out for the guy for the bad check. I have been very depressed over everything that has happened, and trying to bounce back, but it is so hard. I keep going for my animals.
Any way, sounds like you are a very busy lady. Congrats on the new business venture. I hope it is doing well. I have missed you very much. Hoe is Maggie, and all of the furbabies, yours and hers? Give my love to Buffy. I miss that sweet girl also. Take care my friend.

Wow....what a terrible experience with your group I remember it was so very active. I'm sorry to hear about your health. I'll put you on my prayer list for a speedy healing. Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry about Honeybunch I know how much you loved her. It's such a heart ache when a pet is ill. I'm sorry Jamie, so truly sorry Maggie is doing good. She moved to Northern Florida as well, and is keeping busy with decorating her new apartment. Buffy is still tiny and still naughty. Hang in there my friend I can tell you've had a rough period, and I'm sorry for that. Hugs,
