Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

AHHH!!! i got so mad today! I took my kids and husband to Sams Club with me to pick up a few things. well there was a lady giving samples of cheese cake and chocolate cake. my 7 year old tried the cheese cake and then wanted the chocolate piece as well. common sense and I've worked a sample person before says that you may try one of each. anyway as my husband reached in for a piece of chocolate for my daughter the lady snapped at him! she says only one sample per customer!!!! I got her manager but I wasn't satisfied because I didn't see her get in trouble. the manager was upset I could tell and I was told she would talk to her. I went ahead and sent them an e-mail I was sooo mad about it. I'm not paying that much money per year to shop in a store where my kids don't get any respect!!!! grrr. !!! I'm so ticked!!!! Mad

That sample lady is out of line! She not only insulted you r daughter, but disrespected your hubby as well! You would think that the stores would have "service minded" folks there. Not like you turned the child loose in the store & she wanted the whole plater full! Looks like the "Christmas Spirit" was left by the time-clock!

I'm a little more calm about it now, no no my kids must ride in the basket hardly ever allowed to walk in the store and if they do they must be holding my hand! there are too many children go missing because their paretns weren't watching.
We'll see what happens next time we're in. I have never had anyone be so rude anywhere before. I actually worked as a sample lady as a young girl helping out my Aunts friend who was manager of a thing like that. my biggest problems were the stocker that worked in the store coming by all the time snatching a snack. it didn't matter to me though. hey they have to buy food just like anyone else lol!
but yes Zack was really embarassed about the situation. he's known now on the morning news for his computer segment lots of people around are starting to know him as the guy from the news with the computer business. I really wanted to go back and give that woman a piece of my mind but Zack just wouldn't let me. Red Face

VEry rude. The ones that are at the walmart we go to always has everyone take a sample of EVERYTHING, and when hubby is with me (here I get red faced) he will go back 2 or 3 times...for the things he likes.

oh we have a little old lady at Wal Mart that will just about reach out and grab the kids and family to try her samples. every weekend shes there with her sausage or what ever meat they want people to try. I've seen guys go back a few time on things like that. Zack won't because he has to watch what he takes in since his blood pressure gets too high. I think the lady either didn't want the kids to have the samples or she misunderstood and thought he was going again. We'll it will be interesting to see if Sams replys to my e-mail I sent them about it. I also told them the lady said nothing when we walked up to her and never even gave product info or where to find it or price. I'm still aggrivated and probably will be until I see a change for myself! I need a chill pill lol! in the form of my Zoloft I think. tongueout
