Yes, Mechelle , did you change your Email address? My last one 'bounced'! Sure do miss all of My CFP friends... This year sure went fast! We are all doing well, Greta & Baby enjoy the Bark Park in a large town 50 miles away in Show Low Arizona... INFACT.. Baby Found her Littermate DUKE... The same family had originally paid BIG $$$ for the Pair. Later they divorced and each took 1 of the dogs..THEN the PEOPLE found that their NEW LIFESTYLES did not include the 2 yr old dogs...Baby(who was Daisy)was given to someone In GLOBE AZ. who really was not prepared for a Big VELCRO GIRL! And soon she found her self at a DOG POUND who were ready to put her to Sleep(PTS)... Next, Duke was given away by the Man to a little old lady at a ARBYS! Lives in a very small apartment is on Social Security & Can barely afford to feed Duke!... BUT atleast she does take Duke to the park(When She physically can)... So from this Divorce, the Broken pieces were the Furbabies... I gave her our Phone numbers & Email address so that if she finds that she can no longer take care of this VERY energetic BIG guy, we will take him. Normally I don't do males.. but I will him(For Baby's sake~!)You would not have believed how after almost 2 yrs..they went nuts over each other!.. Greta said I like him okay..but they need family time so she wandered around while Baby & Duke went NUTS!...I mean REALLY NUTS! Greta is a little older and she was glad that BABY had someone to rough-house with!.Meanwhile in NEW JERSEY, My Son has his Pup that he got as a Birthday Present from his wife..He is a Chocolate Lab(Named...DUKE!LOL) and we are talking a HUGE LAB & A very Handsome one!).My Hubby fell in love with the Italian Greyhound at the Bark Park & he says..if we ever got another dog it would be an Italian Greyhound.. I don't know about that as very few are ever in need of rescuing compared to the Weimaraner!.. Who seem to need rescued everywhere all the time! My Hopes is that if anyone finds a time when they must 'REHOME' Their Beloved Furbaby(Divorce, Job Loss, Home loss, death, Lack of time or any other reason..)PLEASE FIND a RESCUE or Breed CLUB to help you!... Just don;t throw them to the first person you meet walking down the street or going thru a Drive-thru as most times it does not work out & they end up in KILL-POUNDS like baby & LOTS of dogs that we have Rescued... Hope everyone has a WONDERFULLY Blessed New YEAR!
