Hi, we're so glad you're
visiting.
Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.
The CFP Forum is officially "inactive"
-- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it. All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.
While the center part of the US is flooding, we have YET to receive our FIRST REAL 'MONSOON' RAIN FALL! The GIRLS(Greta & Baby) are spending their days in the house staying cool. They do go out(until they realize how hot it is) then they run for the door! Early Morning & after sunset, they play outside. MEANWHILE, I heard from ISRAEL, that THEIR DOGS received some of the TAINTED PET FOODS as well and it KILLED MANY Dogs there as well... Seems like there is a LOT of different Products from CHINA that are HARMFUL to Man and Pet alike! FISH, Toothpaste, TIRES, WHEAT, RICE, CORN etc etc... Makes me wonder what else is REALLY Going on! SAD to have such DISTRUST in the ITEMS that we buy daily, but it is a sign of the Times! MEANWHILE, GRETA & BABY are doing well & we have Rescued more dogs from KILL POUNDS & Placed them in Wonderful homes! PLEASE try to ADOPT a dog, instead of buying or Breeding! THE last 2 that we rescued were from the POUND that we RESCUED baby from(one was a GORGEOUS BLUE WEIMI BOY(who now has a wonderful FUREVER HOME with an EXPERIENCED Weimi Mom & ONE was a Great Doberman BOY- that the FOSTER Mom decided to keep for herself!) He has gained weight, is MUCH LOVED and PAMPERED! He even has another Dobie Spayed sister now & THEY have a BUILT in SWIMMING POOL! WE LOVE good PROGRESS REPORTS like these! How wonderful is that! We also found a couple of Weimis(Brother & sister-1 1/2 yrs old) in EL PASO, whose only fault was that their Mom & Dad were Divorcing!...Thanks to the cooperation from some Ladies of an OUT OF STATE Rescue Group, they too were rescued! SO many homeless dogs and so few people to help them! Well, Hubby just came home and took the GIRLS to the ball Park for some fun & I have a few moments of Relax time... HOPE all of you & your Furbabies are doing well...

Well, Today is New Years Eve Morning. My Hubby is ..You guessed it-At the Ball Park with the girls!(The County Fair Grounds 2 blocks away-has a Huge Ball park)The Ball Park is hardly ever used & it is Totally fenced in! We are talking a HUGE Grassed in area for them to run & Play in!Hubby has a great throwing arm to keep Baby happy & Greta loves to watch the BIG Birds that Love to Taunt her!LOL...So, I have a few moments to talk to my friends at CFP... I decided a few months ago, to Sell my HUGE DOLL Collection(the Vinyls) this time as last year I had sold off MOST of my Porcelain Dolls. So, I started selling them a couple of Months ago on Ebay... I had Mostly GOTZ(German) and Lee Middleton..22 & 23 inch Toddlers. And I had Hummel-Goebel Vinyls as well. I just have 4 more left(One is a Goebel(German)Porcelain) and I have done very well on Ebay selling. I now have my HUGE Walk-in Closet Empty! This spring I will sell over 150 Hummel Figurines etc. That will go for 'new dirt' & SOD for our Huge back yard for the Girls!... I await Spring with One Main GOAL- A new back Yard for the girls, so we can turn them loose on grass instead of dirt. Hubby & I will still take them to the parks(Ball & Bark) but they will have their own place to have their Furfriends to visit with them!... We also was able to sell things that we had around that we don't use anymore(or have not used in years!)that was a good thing! Amazing how much room we really have!... In the spring, I will have another Yard sale too(Our last one was a COMPLETE Success(Planning was the Reason) and we found 'Doggie stuff'-like a big Oster Clipper that we had not used in years! The Local Dog rescue was so glad to get all the DONATIONS! AND we had so much other dog stuff that was not being used!... On Dec. 22nd 2006 we also became Grand Parents to our First Grand son(Travis Cody Jr.) We already have 2 small grand daughters... Jr is walking now & I was just told a few weeks ago, that I will be a Grandma again in 4-5 months!(another Grand Daughter they think..) so, that pretty much sums up our Year... Hubby is still working and he is just finishing up his vacation(He takes off 2 weeks at Christmas)and 1 week at Thanksgiving too... This year it was a real Blessing for me as he did all the Ebay Mailing! Well, friends.. Please do not forget to adopt from Pounds & Rescues... We purchase T-SHIRTS, Dog Toys & Calendars from them to help support them... May God continue to Bless you all this Coming year!
