Hi, we're so glad you're
visiting.
Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.
The CFP Forum is officially "inactive"
-- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it. All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.
As most of you know, my husband and I have 3 wonderful long-haired Chihuahuas who are all Buffy's sisters: Missy, and the "Twins", Nani and Soli...The three of them have been our babies and we've loved them even before they came to live with us...However, due to my husband having been sick and other financial problems, we find ourselves needing to downsize our home considerably and moving to a condo... This poses a problem because every place we've seen that we can afford, has pet restrictions and they only allow one small pet... It is with a heavy heart that we must let them go with another family, but I'm certain that we will be able to find such people among the CFP Family and that's why I'm writing today....We are looking for a good family or families that will be able to give them a good home... I would prefer that they wouldn't be separated, as they've been together since day one, but if they must separate, they will be okay as long as they have new loving parents... We've taken very good care of them and they're both very loving little dogs... Of course, it would have to be a family in the local area of Dade or Broward County in Florida.... If you know of anyone who can give them a loving and happy home, please let me know... We're not in a hurry, but they're already one year old (Jan. 4, 2005) and we don't want too much more time to pass before they're adopted... We are keeping Missy because she's been with us 3 years this month and we could never ever let her go... The twins are still babies, they're house broken and they are spoiled, but in a good way... There's no doubt we will miss them terribly, but if they're adopted by good people, we'll be okay with it... If you go to "Puppy Pictures" on the home page, you can see my husband, Ned, with all three of them... Nani weighs 8 pounds and Soli (white stripe on her forehead), weighs almost 7 pounds... Please let me know or let Barbi know, as we work together and she can forward the message to me... Thank you all for your help and kindness in this difficult time... Much love and God bless... Martha

Thank you so much for your kind words, and yes, it is very hard, especially since we were there from the very beginning. However, my husband's health has not been well for a couple of years now and the house we have is too much for us. I'm just hoping that we can find a loving home for them. Thanks for your concern. Martha

I wish I lived in your area! I'd take them in a heart beat! I'm can't imagine how hard this is going to be for you, but I'm sure you will find them a wonderful home!
