Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

Just to let you know My Dad passed away this past Sunday Frown
He had Heart Disease for many years
Then things progressed on to Lung,Liver,Kidney Disease, he was also a
diabetic and had a anurisim plus he had a hernia
He has been sick, like I said many years
On June 16th my Dad had a heart attack while working in the Garden
he went down hill from there
In and out of the hospital since june 16th and we lost him on July
23rd at 2:50 am
I was with him till his last breath went out of him.
My heart is broken into!
I can not believe he is gone
The only thing that keeps me going is I know he
died peacefully and with the lord on his side.
He was 70 years old.

Oh Mechele, I'm so sorry. Frown My condolences on such a huge, huge loss. It's a blessing he died knowing the Lord and with you at his side. That is quite a legacy he leaves behind (I signed the Guestbook) and it's obvious he was loved my so many.

I'm sorry for your loss my friend. It doesn't get easier as we get older. My dad is 82 and I worry about losing him almost every day.

I send you a big hug. Frown

Mechele, I am sending you a big Hug as well, and I agree, it doesn't get easier as we get older. For we miss those who were in our lives & Played important roles. BUT remember, Memories are a wonderful thing. I take a trip down Memory lane all the time and each time remember something else...BE sure to 'share' with those who knew him. There is nothing wrong with remembering the wonderful times you had together. HE is not in Pain & He is HOME now. hug2
