Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

Last night I was asleep, and I woke to this LOUD crashing noise. I was petrified. I wasn't sure if it was from my apartment or the basement apartment, but it was so loud, and I froze. I spent a few minutes trying to decide what to do. Then I decided that I needed to go explore and figure out what was going on. I went in Z's room and his hamster cage had flung itself across the room!!!!! I have NO IDEA how this happened. The hamsters were stunned. Piglet was hard to catch, and Hermoine bit me when I picked her up (she never bites).

I went in my son's bedroom this morning and saw that a shelf was knocked down from one of his bookshelves. I do not know HOW the hamster cage fell though. The bookshelf is beside the dresser but the contents fell on the next bookshelf. The picture behind Z's dresser is still on the wall. I have NO CLUE how the cage fell!!

I took pics of the mess. The hamsters are in the blue cage you will see in the left corner of one of the pics. I need to see if there's a way to save the other cage as it cracked in a few places and the door is broken off.
