Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

WaveHI REBECCA; I DID! I WAS INTO reg. quarters BIG TIME! I had Thunder Creek Ranch about 15 miles North of Stanley Wisc. then I moved to Colorado! then I had some here in AZ, BUT Had a bad wreck(horse-type) horse came out just fine, not me. Had to sell my last horse in 1996(CAN'T RIDE ANYMORE0 and it wasn't fair to my horse, just to keep her locked up- she loved to be used/worked! but I STILL LOVE THEM... wanted to maybe "drive" instead of ride but Doc says no way..cuz you never know if something could spook em' Crying Ymebut have you ever heard of the awesome trainer JOHN LYONS, HE HAS A APPY STALLION , that is a Marvelous horse, most public libraries have atleast 3 sets of these training videos. HE IS ALSO FEATURED IN THE BEST HORSE MAGAZINES & HAS A GREAT MONTHLY PUBLICATION! HE'S A REAL"HORSE WHISPERER"!

I love horses I hope to have one or two some day when my kids are not little, I hear they are a lot of work and expense to take care of. And I live right smack in the middle of a city. neighbers wouldn't go for big pets. most don't like my big dogs. please post more about your horses I'd love to see pictures of them too. I had a friend when I was a teen that had horses she had a white one called Shark Jaw. I loved that horse. Smile

Hi Rebecca,
I have a horse, a 12 year old Quarter Horse Gelding named Pat's Be Bop. I have owned him since July, after taking a few year hiatus from horse ownership. My parents raised horses until I was 16 or 17, I am 22 years old now. I also showed horses when I was younger. I ride Be Bop under Western tack at least once a week. smileycolors

I was in 4-H when I was a child. I showed horses, from the time I was 8 until I was 14 years old. I showed Western Pleasure, Showmanship, and Horsemanship. I got kinda burned out on horse shows and have not showed horses since. Also when I was in 4-H, I raised and showed steers, beef cattle, poultry, and rabbits. juggle
