Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. How in the world do you get hamsters to sleep a little bit at night? My grand-niece has 2 new hamsters and they ride their wheel for a couple of hours in the middle of the night -- what a racket!! crying

hamsters are nocturnal. You can't really stop them from making noise at night. Can they put the cage someplace safe outside the child's room at night?
