Well I think Sasha is preggy I don't know yet. she has a huge tummy and her nipples are getting really big guess we'll see before too long. it's so cool though.

YEAH!! How exciting! I love baby guinea pigs, I love how they are born with their eyes open and can eat solid food the day they are born, they are soooo adorable too!

Don't worry I'll post as soon as I know for sure. She is soooo fat though I don't know how she couldn't be pregnant. Andi do you know how many they have at one time? and what is the gestation period ?

The gestation period is between 60 and 70 days. The average litter is two, but they can have anywhere between one and five, five is really pushing it though, there are special things that you need to do for an expecting pig, lol, if you want, give me your email address and I will send you lots of great info on them, I have had guinea pigs since I was seven years old! lol
