Copa is such a nice pet, and she is very cute when she flakes out on the platform on her cage, she looks so relaxed! Gustavo also enjoys spending time with her which is very cool!

hehe rats make WAY better pets than other small rodent pets in my experience! I've had a mouse, a gerbil, numerous hamsters and a couple of rats and the rats were far friendlier, never EVER bit, were smarter, more fun etc etc.
i just wish people would get past their tails, I actually LIKE Copa's tail, it's neato!! And a domestic rat is way different than a wild one, it's like comparing your chihuahua to a wild wolf A Native American saying: "We do not inherit the land, we borrow it from our children." You know, the tail was pretty hard for me to get used to. But, it really wasn't as bad as I thought. I think rats are just adorable!!

I think rats are cute. I like watching them in the subway. We have some HUGE rats here in NYC. I saw one the other day that was about a foot long and then had a tail that was another foot long. It was bigger than a big squirrel. Then a smaller rat came by sniffing the air and the big one attacked it. The little one squeaked loudly and continued to squeak. It ran along the train tracks.......then a subway car came and got closer and closer and closer....finally they both jumped off - WHEW! That was close!
