Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

Guinea pigs make good friends for Rabbits Smile
that's about the extent of my knowledge, although, I believe they enjoy a bit of timothy hay and veggies and fruit (don't feed them lettuce, it might make them get the "runs")

Porky is really adjusting well to his new home, He's getting used to my 5 year old daughter too, Now our 2 year old is another story I have to keep them away from each other because she's not real good with small Animals the gliders will just hang out higher than her but Porky seems a bit slow and not to concerned about whats going on around him, I get the camera out tomorrow and take some pics of him. I'll take some of my Sugar Gliders too I never remember to get the camera out.

Porky is doing great I have pics of him but have to wait on my husband to install a new hard drive, Guess he's so busy working other peoples computers he doesn't have time for ours. I would recomend Guinea pigs for any one who loves animals . they say that their not real demanding but Porky demands his time with us and if I put him up to soon he has a fit. he runs all around in his cage and messes up the shavings like a child. he's very loving and like to sit and snuggle for hours. the only draw back to Guinea pigs is that you can't house break them and so there is the occasional doodle on the floor or on you. I'll post pics just as soon as I can I promise.

OMG! last night porky was sitting with me and Zack came in eating a Banana Porky started sniffing the air and headed for Zack making his hungry cry. we were shocked his nose was so good to smell that, he tried a bite of the banana but didn't like it lol! so I got him his favorite a slice of apple, I don't think he's too thrilled though because he has to share us with our Sugar Gliders again. I can't have them out and him because The Gliders would kill him. I'm kind of worried about that one, I keep them in different rooms but Gliders are smart and if they get out they would more than likely hurt Porky. The pet store I got them from told me that Gliders will also kill birds and actually did get out in the store one night and got into some of the exotic bird cages and killed the birds. the owners of the store said it was the most terrible thing they had every seen. Well I'm witing a novel here so I'll stop.
