Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

Ok I uploaded a few pics of Flower, and after I am done cropping the ones of Speedy I will upload those too. Enjoy! Big Grin

Flower, my sweet hedgie girl is about two and a half months. She was a rescue and was in really bad shape when I got her. She was infested with mites and also has feces caked all over her body, but with a little love and treatment for mites she is now growing into a lovely little girl.

Peekaboo!

What a darling face.

Yum!

You can see how small she is here.

On her igloo.

Ok check back soon because I have pics of my other hedgie Speedy to post, and a couple pics of the two of them together. Smile

Yes sometimes their quills do bother me, but for the most part no.

What do I feed them? Ok here is the list:

Nutro Max Cat kitten food
Briskys hedgehog diet
Hedgie Delight, a food my local exotic vet carries

crickets
mealworms
waxworms
earthworms
ground beef
chicken
pork
fish like salmon and tuna
pasta
cooked white rice
sometimes wet cat food as a treat
dog biscutes
apples
banana
pears
grapes
cheerios
cooked mixed veggies such as tomatoes, broccoli, green beans, peas etc.

They also enjoy oatmeal and rice baby cereal. Smile

AWW! Those pics are so great! I never get very many good pics!! haha i love the one of them both sitting there eating together!!!
MommyBop777- We'll, it really depends on the person, to see whether or not they are good pets. For some people they are hard to fit into their schedule(nocturnal) or they want something more cuddly. I think they are GREAT..They are very nice(well mins are most of the time) If they get lots of love and attention. Hmm..i thikn they live around 3-7 years???

Hi there, this is Missy. I don't know if you know, but Buffy is my older sister and every once in a while I write stuff on the forum. I saw your picture and I'm wondering... how can someone pet you? I'm just curious, but could you ask your mommy for me? You look so cute and adorable, but it looks like your coat looks like it's made of hard spikes. Are they really hard or are they soft? You are really beautiful. I didn't even know what a hedgehog was. Nice to meet you and in me you have a new friend!! Bye. Missy Yippee
