Hi, we're so glad you're
visiting.
Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.
The CFP Forum is officially "inactive"
-- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it. All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.
Here are some pics of my Zebra Finches, I got Sat. I have two males and two females, I got a book on them, it says they choose a mate for life, How Cool! Tiki is at the top of the cage , one of the males is at the bottom, I haven't named the 2 males yet any suggestions?
Maria when I got the birds, I bought a book on them, and thats what it says, that they pick a mate for life, Yesterday it looked to me like the two females were wanting the same male, so I'll just have to watch them, I can't have the females fighting, I may have to replace he male that is not accepted.

Barbi I will have to get back with you on that, I don't know for sure, I skimmed through the book, but I haven't actually found out how long they live, I haven't had the time, Curtis is a handful ! After the holidays I will have more time to read, (I hope)

Good choices Rosemary, I have already named the two females, Tiki and Tearra, but guess what !! Already there are two little eggs in one of the nesting baskets, so I am thinking one of the females was preggy when I bought her , I don't know yet if the eggs are both fertile, I may have 2 more babies when I get back from the New Year, We are leaving early in the morning, my daughter will take care of Lucy, Midnight and the birds, we are going to board Curtis today at the vets , where I have been taking them for many years, I know they will take good care of Curtis. but I hate to leave him
