-- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it. All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.
I am new to this board. My name is Jessica. I'm 21 years old and owned by Oakley, my 10 mos old Golden Retriever, Raven, my 6 mos old German Shepherd, and my newly acquired bunny Suchi. My pups are my life! I referenced this forum through another and thought why not?! I'm hopelessly devoted to my 2 cute pups, who inspired me to make a website all about them. (they're quite photogenic pups!) I hope to post much here. I will be adding pics later as I am away from my home pc.

thanks guys! naming my "raven" was quite a chore for us. we had no idea what to call her. we started a day with Kiona, a hawaiian name. but after the first day, i honestly had to stop and think about her name lol. then we went to our neighbors and they pulled out a book of mystical stuff and said "Raven" and i knew that was it. she's mostly black so it was just perfect. and running across so many dog lovers, i've NEVER heard anyone with that name. i like being original. i think it's great and shows character for your pups. my oakley i thought was original too, but i have come across one pup with the same name. but only one!
as far as raising them, it's not hard at all. my bf trained my golden so he's a great listener and the best luv i could ask for. raven is still in that young puppy age so she is quite hyper. we had her trained through petsmart, so she's extremely trained and smart. she's my roughest one now...especially that i just got a bunny. (which i have the most adorable pics to come!)
but all in all they're the best dogs. all they require is food, sleep, water, love and lots of attention. i can give all that any day!

Rosemary, can you picture me with a baby Weimaraner? I would go bezerk snapping photos. I just know that's the next baby in my life but I have to wait until Hiram and I buy a new house. I even know what I'm going to probably name her -- Raven!! It sounds elegant and free. Rosemary, can you snap a few new photos of Hannah and open another post for her? I would love to see more photos.
