After lots of soul searching I placed Andy on petfinder
Andy has been adopted to a wonderful family with
3 children, I know that Andy will be much happier.
Yes I know he adopted us but with
me being out of work! I know what I have to do !
He will be better off .
I am Happy knowing Andy will be happier
especially with Alex ! Alex is the family's 12
year old daughter that loves every type of animal there is ...
I just know Andy & Alex will be a team !
Have you ever had a dog come into your life that for some reason you could just not put your finger on it but you knew in your heart that that dog was just not yours !!! It took you forever to figure it out, I feel as if Andy came into my life to be connected with this family, I truley believe that !

Things did not work out for him at his new home,
Seems he is a bit of a bigger dog than they had intended on getting for lil Alex
And a bit more energy than lil Alex could handle,
They said being that he was gonna be Alex's dog they need a smaller
dog with less energy....

Well one thing about it, it is best they do this now than to wait till she
was even more attached to Andy...
Gosh I hate this didn't work out for them & Andy..

I'll keep him in my prayers. That Petfinder link that you posted, is void now.. you better post another one for him! BTW: The first time I saw Greta, I was unsure... But Hannah was sure!!! And when I found out that Greta was so sick(the moment we loaded her in the vehicle to head home) I knew then SHE NEEDED US! NOW...NO QUESTION it was meant to be! I really hope that your Andy finds a great home.

aww Andy is beautiful if I didn't already have 4 dogs I'd take him. lol! one time I got a free pup from some people on a farm, well he was just beautiful I loved him to bits but he needed a high level of play like rough play. he loved my kid brother and my Dad so much and they loved him.I knew he wasn't meant for me but really worked well for Jared and Dad. so after a lot of thought I gave them the dog. sadly for all involved the poor little guy died about a month later, they let him out back to go to the bathroom and a storm came in they couldn't find him and assumed he would ride it out in the dog house but he went under a metal canoe (boat thing) leaning against a telephone pole and a chain link fence. well lightning struck the pole went down the fence and hit the boat and he died. it was the most terrible thing. we never even thought of that happening!

Well It is not that I don't love Andy
or that Andy don't fit in here cause he does, I just can NOT explain this feeling I have...It's weird !!!

So sorry about the dog...Some things are just outta your control sometimes...

hey thats great news! I hope it all works out for Andy's sake.

So far everything has checked out great...
The man has had 4 Weimaraners in his life
all of which has lived from ages 7 to 15
One who is now 10 still with them
All references check out great
The man and his wife are retired but
run a business from their home,
They build Harp's and restore old one's
Vet references say they
would be a wonderful home for Andy
I'll know something by the end of the week!
The man has already paid the adoption fee
and says that if in fact it come to the point
that they decided after visiting w/ Andy
that he is just not the dog for their
family that the rescue is to keep that
money for a donation
So Keep your fingers crossed.
