Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

hey I'm really getting frustrated my dogs are wanting to be outside all the time. even at night they can't stand to stay in they want to be out in the back yard! why don't they want to be with us more? do your dogs want to stay outside more than inside? And Chloe doesn't want to spend the night inside right now she wants to sit outside and howl at the moon. it's such a sad howl I woke up in the night and it sounded almost like a gohst or something. They seem to only want to be in a few hours every day and then their at the door ready to go out and refuse to come back in.

Colby is the same as Hannah, she's my shadow.
I can't even open a cupboard without her running up to see whats in there. SHe goes out to do her bisness and then right back inside to see what we are doing.

We went to the dog park the other day and she just walked around with me, at first she chased a few dogs then decided to hang out with me. I was running out of things to throw.

Lady and Tobi love to be outside, unless it's cold, then they both make a dash in the evening inside the house. I do notice that Lady prefers to keep watch of the backyard -- I think she's just protecting her territory. Personally, I prefer them inside in the evening that way Lady won't be barking at raccoons that usually climb our trees. That makes for a rough night. Lulu is always inside and only goes out when I'm there to supervise her. I don't take her out in the evenings because she doesn't have all her vaccines yet so I don't want to take a chance she'll be bitten by a mosquito and get sick.

I wonder if part of my problem is that all of my dogs came from other homes where they were outside only dogs. and now with all of them together maybe they don't depend on us for companionshipt as much. usually if they are all in at once they fight with each other competing for our attention. but even if only one is inside they can't wait to get back out there. Zoey however can not stand the heat. so she'll be spending more time with me for the summer. she seems to looove the cold and cooler days.
