Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

Big Grin Well Rosemary and the rest of you..if your snagging i'm glad your having fun and enjoying it....today i took Sassy to the beauty shop...got her all combed out...all her undercoat is out but she has lots of fur around her face that is still coming out....have any of you heard of a CAGE DRYER??...a friend was telling me about them and how she took her dog to the groomer and they used one and burnt the hair and skin....i asked my groomer and she showed it to me and said they never use them...they use a regular hair dryer on low or the back end of a vacuum cleaner...she told me its a wonder they didn't kill the dog....can you imagine....my gosh poor baby.....

Yes, Evie, I've heard of the dryers, that blow into the cage. I think they are horrible, They are for the convience of the groomers. They can be busy grooming another dog, while your's is getting air blown in their face!(atleast the ones that I have seen) If they had to hand dry, then "hand blower dry" each dog, that would take more time & energy. I guess it;s like taking your car to a machine car wash or a hand car wash(costs a lil more). I don't take my pickup truck to a machine wash(I've seen all kinds of damage to the vehicles from antennas, mirrors to creased metal) I have a rather nice pickup & my girls are worth much, much more to me than that! I take the care to wash my girls the way I would my son(when he was lil)big stack of towels for each and a whole lot of massaging! Winkand that's Everything times two! doggy doggyseeing the two of them running around the house"feeling good" IS well worth all the work! banana

Speaking of cage blowers, a place around here left a dog with one in it's cage and forgot about it. The dog ended up dying Yme
