Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

puppuluvs I can understand your pain totally. remember I had a similar thing with Zoey and had to have her put down. you do go into denial of what is happening I think that is normal for someone who loves their pets and wants everything to be ok. I'll pray for your comfort but you did the right thing I promise. crying

I know the pain it's hard things will be hard for a long time I wish I could say it would be better in a day or two. it's a very heavy feeling when there is something wrong with a dog and you can't fix them. your in my prayers and time will heal your pain. I still feel sad but have quit crying daily like I was. now I have the memory, Zoey brought joy to our home and lives before she snapped like she did. I guess she had served her purpose and if she hadn't of left I wouldn't have gotten Bodie who needed a home and saved my life just last night. Zoey and your beloved furkid will be together and some day I do believe we will see them again. read what Rosemary posted in the poems and stories section about Heavens Doggie door. Frown

I can only imagine the pain of having to make such a decision. I'm sorry you had to go through it. I hope your neighbor girl is okay and glad that her parents are being understanding.

RIP Dear Keeau Frown
