Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

That's a good looking fish. There's no way I'll own another one; I don't want them dying on me. No matter how much I try, something happens to them -- it's a horrible feeling to see them right side up in the tank Frown Talk about guilt!! Frown

I agree with you guys that fish usually don't live long enough, the longest any of my fish have lived is 3 or 4 years (a cory cat & a betta). But, I still like them and enjoy them, and will continue to have them. Currently I have had my betta for about a year, along with some of our saltwater fish, and will have had 2 of my goldfish a year in May. The main thing is you just can't get too attached to them and when they die you just go and buy another one to take its place.
