Hello everyone.. Well I posted a topic a while back about my parents dog, Kelly, who was sick with cancer among other problems. He also had an enlarged heart and it showed.. Kelly was the sweetest, most loving dog Ive ever known. He loved anyone he met! NEVER a guarddog! He would lick anyone who would let him. (Kelly was a beautiful sheltie male)

Kelly died last week from complications from his enlarged heart. My dad was driving him with my step mom to the emergency room when Kelly passed over right on his lap in the car. It was the saddest day.

Kelly is now resting peacefully in the RB and I was hoping that because Kelly was such a special part of our family, that everyone could assure my parents he is happy and peaceful in the RB. They are worried about him everyday and I know that you guys are the best group and can make anyones day brighter.

In loving memory of the best family dog a person could ever know....

You have my deepest sympathies over the loss of your pet. I remember when we lost Buffy's dad, Tiny, it had such a drastic impact on our lives. I am convinced it is just as equal to losing a human family member. Remembering the good times helps a lot. Kelly sounds like she was a sweetheart -- keep the fond memories alive and pay tribute to that. She's at the Rainbow Bridge brightening up the lives of other pets until you meet again.

My parents have since had Kellyu cremated and he was placed in a special box they ordered. Cathy, my stepmom and Kellys mommy, couldnt bare to bury him because she was afraid they might move one day and she couldnt take him with her.

It is so sad... I know they are slowly recovering form his death... I just cannot believe his happy, wonderful little soul isnt around to cheer up our days. We lost a good one the day he passed.
