Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

While the site was closed down, I went through a horrible ordeal. I was at my friends studying & we heard a gun shot, then we heard a dog crying for help. We drove around the block & found a rat terrier who had been shot. I rushed up to grab him & we took him to the vet. At first it looked like they were going to have to put him to sleep, but he was quite the fighter. The vet did surgery on him, and he came through that wonderful. Then I went to go pick the dog up after school & bring him to his new home, my home. The vet said he had been doing well when I had called to check on him, then at about 4 he had passed away. I was sooo heartbroken. I named the dog Survivor, because he had fought so hard. I was so excited to bring him home & have a new dog, but he didn't make it. They never found who shot him, but I wish I could give whoever did it a piece of my mind. I can't believe people can be so cruel Frown Frown Frown

Hi Tiff, you did what you were suppose to do. Yes we have some monsters, living on this planet. I won't even call them Animals, cuz that would put them in a class they don't deserve to be in!(I have a lot of animals that are my dear friends. These two legged demons are MONSTERS! I have something like it now, a chiropractor(supposedly a Doctor, which are supposedly preserve life) is getting ready to kill a litter of Half-weimis & half(either rottie or boxer) cuz his weimaraner female got out & got bred. And cuz this weimi is registered & from a "highclassed" breeder who has the pup buyers sign a contract saying that she(the breeder) has to chose or approve of the stud, HE this monster, Chiropractor is using that as an excuse to MURDER these pups as soon as they are born!!! Then he is going to find her a "proper stud"! What an idiot! No one in the area will do anything about it either, I called the Local Rescue & she's not willing to confront him, but said that I should call him back & offer that she would be willing to raise the pups, get them fixed & adopt them out. I'm very suspicious of her motives too, cuz I KNOW what she pays for the"fixing" & I know what she " Charges for the adoption fees! I've thought about it everyday now for the 2 weeks that I knew about it. This Idiot isn't the least bit ashamed of what he's doing either. I've dreaded calling cuz I dreaded that he would tell me that it was too late. After reading about this lil surviver, I decided that I MUST CALL! I just called & he said that he would talk to his wife about it. Please folks pray about this.Look @ the pic below & tell me how a HUMAN BEING could harm a lil one???

Good luck!! I hope you can save the puppies, it would make my day after losing Survivor. Some people or shall I say monsters must just be born with no heart. People like that should be tortured like they torture these animals. Even that, people who murder people often start out killing animals. Scary thought. Frown Frown Frown I will pray for those puppies. Keep us updated.

Yes, Maggie, you are correct. And this man is a Chiropractor, a medical person(what ever happened to the term" do no HARM?") It saddens me, to think that the "Miracle of life" is of little value
to supposedly CIVILIZED PEOPLE! The tag with the Pups shown below is titled "NOT DISPOSABLE" It has a very serious message, It describes exactly how I feel.
