There's not really a story behind Punkin-Head Jone's name; it sort of evolved with his personality. I'd always wanted an orange cat and thought Punkin would be a cute name. So when I finally got my little orange kitty and named him Punkin, he was such a silly dufas that we started calling him and referring to him as Punkin-head. I'm not sure when or where the Jones part came in - it kinda became part of the way I'd sort of sing-song to him: "Little Punkin-Head, little Punkin-Head Jones".
And that was probably because of the way he acted. He was the most beautiful kitten, but kind of a bruiser, and not real bright - like a little line-backer! So "Punkin-Head Jones" seemed to fit!!
