Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

aren't they great Lynn. congrats for you new baby. doggy there are a few people that have a shi tzu i'm sure they'd love to help.
i have a Shi Tzu mix. well i found her and her owner didn't want her back. Confused they bought her for their son for the new year (she was there for about 10 days) but he didn't take care of her. they also thought she was a Pekingese and as you know the breeds are very diffrent.
anyway people said she looks pure breed (even the vets who checked her out - maybe but i don't think so) so i did lot of reaserch into what she might be - if you need to know anything about Shi Tzu i'm here for you.
she's (2 years old) the most energetic loving dog i ever known. the first and almost only thing she wants to do is play. please post some pics of your new baby. Yippee
here is mine about a month after we got her.

I just got a 10 week old shih tzu and I think hes great. Ive always had big dogs and still have a big guy, but just wanted a little one for a change. He loves my big dog Cain, and Cain loves him. They get along great. The snorting is something to get used to, worries me sometimes???...anyone have the snorting problem??
