Hi, we're so glad you're visiting.  Welcome to the CFP Pet Community.

The CFP Forum is officially "inactive" -- I am exhausted and just cannot keep up with it.  All our wonderful moderators and buddies who wholeheartedly participated with me in this forum also have busy lives and -- one could say -- we all got burned out talking about our fur-kids for years. It got to be pretty addicting, but life and reality has now taken over. I love you guys -- enjoy reading the posts OR if you want to register and say hello, please do not expect an immediate response or a lot of replies. God bless and please take care of your fur-kids.

PENSACOLA, Florida -- Nice shootin', Pup! doggy

A man who tried to shoot seven puppies was shot himself when one of the dogs put its paw on the revolver's trigger. lol

Jerry Allen Bradford, 37, was charged with felony animal cruelty, banana the Escambia County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday. He was being treated at a hospital for a gunshot wound to his wrist. Roll Eyes

Bradford said he decided to shoot the 3-month-old shepherd-mix dogs in the head because he couldn't find them a home, according to the sheriff's office.

On Monday, Bradford was holding two puppies -- one in his arms and another in his left hand -- when the dog in his hand wiggled and put its paw on the trigger of the .38-caliber revolver. The gun then discharged, the sheriff's report said.

Deputies found three of the puppies in a shallow grave outside Bradford's home, said sheriff's Sgt. Ted Roy.
Crying
The other four appeared to be in good health and were taken by Escambia County Animal Control, which planned to make them available for adoption. clap2

That sad part, that he won't get anything but a slap on the wrist! if that! What a weak excuse for what he did! Wonder about the mama dog? I didn't see anything about her! Down in florida, right now there is a crisis, besides the obvious storm coming again, folks loosing everything etc & it's the pets being lost & left behind...the human shelters won't take them in...so unless you have other arrangements made....
